Solo Crypt Security on Prismatic Hunter (No RNG, No Vehicle)
My dreams have finally come true. Thanks to Babs, we no longer have to use a vehicle get out of bounds. He found the Storms Edge breach today and it only took me a couple hours to clear after he showed it to me. This strat is absolutely going to be the new meta for solo security, and the out of bounds is very easy to do, it just requires you to be on 30 fps.
There really isn't much to worry about in this encounter aside from making sure you get your super back before going downstairs and having special ammo for damage. Knowing the Salvation's Grip lineups by heart really helps too, but they can still be somewhat inconsistent. You generally also have to be pretty fast so you don't burn or w...

Pretty happy with this run as I've been wanting to get sub 40 on veteran for some time now. Finally had a good enough run to get there. This run still has a few unfortunate deaths and a few deaths that I just completely threw. None of them were particularly bad deaths as none of them lost me any significant time, so we still got there in the end. I might come back to this run again in the futur...

The strategy used in this run is so much better than the old one, by a long shot. Not only is the pike setup much easier than it used to be, you don't have to push scanner at all, which was by far one of the worst parts of the old strategy. This dungeon is a ton of fun and I had a great time optimizing my strategies for Warlock, as this class is definitely the worst for solo damage out of the 3. That being said, Warlock was so much fun to run and I'm really proud of being able to 2 phase each boss consistently. Using Chaos Accelerant with Magnetic Grenades allows you to disable the Overload champions from ever spawning in this encounter. You simply charge the grenade and throw it into the spawn door. I did this run a while ago and never uploaded it for some reason. This run is 2 seconds slower than the official record for this level and I'll most likely come back to this in the future to try and get a 40 or better. You have to do it in the config file, then make that file read only

@@blankbull2264 I don't know about a video, but the process involves (with the game closed) going to where you installed the game through steam, usually SteamLibrary>steamapps>common>MW2. Find the players file and open config.cfg with notepad. Change "seta cg_drawFPS" to "Simple" and add a line at the very bottom for "seta thereisacow "1337"". After doing this save the file and close it. Then right click config.cfg, click properties, in the general tab at the bottom check the box that says "Read-only". Making this file read only makes it so when you start the game, your config will always be the same. It also means changing the settings inside the game won't be saved on restart. You can join the COD speedrunning discord too if you have any other questions, they were the ones who helped me with everything. Hope this helps.
